Books…

Hello!
i have just started reading ‘How Triathlon Ruined My Life’, by our coach Darren Roberts, and im also reading ‘Feet in the clouds’ by Richard Askwith, a fell runner. These both got me to thinking, seeing how great and motivational they are, reading and learning about different sports seems to be a good idea, so i wondered if anyone has any recommendations of books they have read??
Ever gratefull….Rach.

    Hi Rach,

Take a look at ‘Learning to Breathe’ by Andy Cave. An inspirational story of how a coal miner from Yorkshire became one of the greatest climbers in the world. Certainly teaches you mental toughness and to never give up.

Take care - looking forward to seeing you back in DH next year.

    Hello,

Geoff Thomson has a few good books in his arsenal. Two of which i HIGHLY reccomend:
Fear - the friend of exceptional people
The elephant and the twig - The art of positive thinking.

Both are easy to read and well put forward, both are truly excellent purchases. Happy to lend them to you but i want them back when your done!

Let me know if you want them or if you read them

    Paul
